Since their inception, Dean's Beans has been actively involved in the ecological and social struggles of the farm communities they support. They have been involved as international election observers, designed and supported women's banks and health projects, and fought for territorial and ecological protection for indigenous communities. They have provided financial and logistical support for many groups trying to better the life of farm communities and protect the third world environment.
