| Daniel A. Brown has
been involved in the visual arts for nearly forty years and has
been a resident of Western Massachusetts since 1970. After several
decades as a documentary photographer, Brown returned to landscape
painting in 1999 and has since exhibited his works in galleries
and juried art festivals from New York City to Portland, Maine.
Using vivid color and whimsical detail, his unique style has been
described as a fusion of Peter Max and Grandma Moses. He is a
founding member of the Gallery 267 co-op in Greenfield and
maintains a studio at the Green Trees Gallery in Northfield. |
